What We Calibrate
Industrial Scale Calibration
On-site weighing scale calibration and preventative maintenance delivered by our skilled field engineers. Standards to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 (UKAS) accredited procedures.

Production-aware calibration for high-speed environments. We validate accuracy at line speed, not just static checks, confirming timing, configuration and performance.

Laboratory balance calibration for regulated environments, covering UKAS ISO 17025 (Accredited Laboratory No. 9617) and ISO 9001 traceable routes, plus IQ/OQ/PQ support where required.

Traceable load cell calibration for vessels, silos & process weighing systems using signal injection or force calibration techniques. Further testing available with PLC/HMI output.

We calibrate portable weigh pads using dedicated 12.5-tonne force rigs and ISO 17025 certified reference load cells — now with full UKAS traceability and VCA-compliant documentation where required.
Ponts-bascules
On-site weighbridge calibration to ISO 9001:2015 standards, keeping inbound/outbound vehicle weighing accurate and compliant. Approval / stamping available up to 50t using a specialised weighbridge test unit vehicle.
Other Instruments
We calibrate far beyond weighing — temperature (PT100/PT1000, thermocouples, chambers), pressure (−0.95 to 100 bar g), humidity probes, pH & conductivity meters, salt analysers, plus magnet/gauss testing and metal detectors.
Accreditations and Memberships
MWS is a UKAS accredited calibration laboratory No. 9617, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for the calibration of non-automatic weighing equipment. We are also certified to ISO 9001:2015 by UK Metrology Board (UKMB), and hold UKMB Module D approval, which allows us to self-verify Class III weighing equipment for use in trade.
