MWS Weighing Solutions wins East Midlands Chamber Manufacturer of the Year award
Leicester, 5th September 2016 – MWS Weighing Solutions, the manufacturer of industrial weighing equipment, has won the prestigious East Midlands Chamber (EMC) Manufacturer of the Year award, sponsored by Samworth Brothers.
The EMC Business Awards recognises companies across the county that have pioneered new concepts and innovation, excelled in commercial enterprise or distinguished themselves with their attitude to workforce development. Sponsored by Samworth Brothers, the Leicestershire based FMCG manufacturer, the Manufacturer of the Year award was designed to recognise local manufacturers with a proven track record for innovation, efficiency, sustainability and profitability. The finalists must also demonstrate the success of the products they manufacture, along with the strength of their presence in the UK and overseas.
MWS industrial scales are manufactured in the UK, with many Leicestershire-based companies supplying materials, components and services. For unique, bespoke jobs, MWS consult with clients to design, manufacture, test, calibrate and install the scales based on specifications and requirements outlined by the client, making it a collaborative process. All of this is done in-house at MWS’s new facilities in Birstall, to ensure specific requirements are met and each scale is manufactured to the highest standard. MWS also manufacture a range of off-the-shelf scales that are highly accurate, robust and meet the needs of various weighing challenges, but at an affordable price.
MWS provides a full service from beginning to end, which includes delivery, installation and on-going calibration and service.
