Additional Info
TPWLK “Logistics” is a pallet truck scale built for the part of the day where weight becomes a decision. Think inbound goods where you need to confirm supplier quantities at the dock, or outbound pallets where you want to catch an overweight shipment before the carrier does. With TPWLK you lift, move, and weigh in one workflow—no queuing for a floor scale, no re-handling, and fewer “it must have happened in transit” arguments.
It is a 2,000 kg rated pallet truck with integrated weighing. Forks are low-profile (85 mm) and sized for Europallet work (1150 × 550 × 85 mm), with a 200 mm lifting height for staging and loading. The structure is extra-thick steel with oven-fired paint, polyurethane steering wheels/rollers, and a quick-lift hydraulic pump for controlled lowering. Protection rating is IP65 (IP20 on printer models) and the operating range is -10 to +40 °C, suitable for chilled bays and docks.
Weighing performance is designed for pallet handling. Maximum resolution is 0.2 kg for internal use; approved versions operate at 0.5/1 kg depending on configuration. For a distributed load on a Europallet, internal-use accuracy is specified at ±1 kg; approved models follow EC legal metrology requirements under Directive 2014/31/EU. Each unit is tested and supplied with a certificate to support the declared accuracy.
Inside, four IP68 stainless steel load cells do the measuring, and a 25 mm backlit LCD keeps the reading visible in low light. The sealed 17-key keyboard gives quick recall of common functions and adjustments. Configuration, calibration, and diagnostics can be done from the keyboard or from a PC using DINITOOLS, which helps when you are commissioning multiple trucks.
Battery management is equally practical. The extractable rechargeable “Instaplug” battery uses a quick-coupling, anti-reverse connection and delivers about 80 hours of typical use. Automatic switch-off is programmable to extend runtime, and the indicator shows battery level. The supplied 230 Vac charger (EU plug) takes roughly 8 hours to recharge; alternative plugs are available as options.
Functions are focused on shop-floor problems: Net/Gross, totalizing, piece counting, percentage weighing, hold, and unit/conversion tools (lb/kg plus a free conversion factor for custom counters). A +/- checkweigh controller with fast target and threshold entry helps operators keep pallets inside limits without slowing down. User-menu access can be password-protected, and quick-access keys can be locked to prevent accidental changes during busy shifts.
For traceability, choose versions with an integrated thermal printer (with clock/calendar) and a customizable print format. A two-way port supports connection to a modem, radio, or portable terminal for data capture workflows.
Serviceability is treated as a design requirement. TPWLK is built without a junction box, and individual load-cell adjustment can be carried out from the keyboard—useful when equipment is shared across sites and downtime is expensive. With spare/wear parts intended to be readily available and service centres across Europe and beyond, TPWLK is a pallet truck scale you can keep in operation, not one you have to work around.
