MWS carry out fully traceable scale calibration services. We are an experienced team of Weighing Scale professionals that travel nationwide to service and calibrate your weighing scales. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of MWS Ltd, a weighing scale manufacturer that focuses on providing customers with reliable products, maintenance and calibration of all types of weighing products from analytical lab balances through to weighbridges and silos. As an independent company we choose to supply weighing equipment from a range of carefully selected and vetted manufacturers.

UKAS & ISO9000 On-Site Traceable Calibration

The MWS calibration team visit clients sites to carry out routine preventative maintenance and traceable calibration, MWS have ISO17025 UKAS and ISO9001:2008 accreditation, we are also have self verification for the trade approval of weighing equipment, audits and accreditation are awarded by the National Measurements Office. All documentation is produced in electronic PDF format, this ensures clients can easily request or download their own certificates in the event of them being misplaced. All certificates are uploaded to the MWS online portal for easy retrieval, this includes up to date traceable weight certificates, Insurance documents, Health & Safety policies plus risk assessments or method statements, specific task risk assessments are available upon request.

Software Support

Any software sold by MWS is supported in a first-line instance using online tools such asUltraVNC or TeamViewer. 99% of software issues are solved online without the expense of visiting a customers site. In rare occasions where a site visit is required the MWS IT team visit with a service engineer to check for hardware and software faults.


Any claims for warranty must be completed inside the manufacturers issued warranty period. MWS take warranty claims very seriously and endeavour to deliver a satisfactory end result. MWS have an online tracking tool to see the status of any warranty claims.

Warranty claims will only be processed for equipment sold by MWS. Any equipment sold by other distributors or dealers needs to be returned to the original supplier.
