Gas-Assisted Top Plate Lifting Mechanism

The EZ Lift Drive-In Scale features a low-profile platform combined with a rugged, gas-assisted top plate lifting mechanism, designed to enable routine cleaning and maintenance to be carried out safely and efficiently.

The assisted gas lift assembly allows the platform to be raised easily by a single operative, providing fast and unobstructed access to internal components for cleaning, inspection and servicing. The system is specifically designed to improve health and safety by eliminating the need for physical exertion or additional lifting equipment.

The gas-assisted mechanism delivers smooth and controlled movement when opening and closing the platform, helping to protect load cells, cabling and other internal components from shock or damage. This controlled action also reduces wear on hinges and structural elements, contributing to long-term reliability.

Once cleaning or maintenance is complete and the platform is lowered back into position, the scale is immediately ready to carry out measurement. There is no requirement for recalibration following the lifting and lowering procedure, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow.
