Weighing Equipment Calibration

Industrial Scale Calibration

On-site weighing scale calibration services and preventative maintenance is delivered by our skilled field engineers. Standards to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 (UKAS) accredited procedures.

Dynamic Checkweighers

MWS provides production-aware dynamic checkweigher calibration for high-speed environments. We validate accuracy at line speed (not just static checks) and confirming timing, configuration, and performance across the working range

Laboratory Balances

Laboratory balance calibration to support regulated environments, covering UKAS ISO 17025 (Accredited Laboratory No. 9617) and ISO 9001 traceable routes, plus IQ/OQ/PQ support where required.

Process Weighing & Load Cells

Traceable load cell calibration for vessels, silos and process weighing systems using signal injection or force calibration techniques. Further testing available with additional assurance of PLC/HMI output verification and syncronisation.

Axle Weigh Pads

MWS calibrates portable weigh pads using dedicated 10-tonne force rigs and ISO 17025 certified reference load cells. Now providing full UKAS traceability and VCA-compliant documentation where required.

Weighbridges

On-site weighbridge calibration to ISO 9001:2015 standards, helping keep inbound/outbound vehicle weighing accurate and compliant. Testing available up to 50t using a specialised weighbridge test unit vehicle. Re-verifications and Trade Approvals following repairs possible due to our Module D approval from the UK Metrology Board.

Asset Calibration Types

Humidity

Calibration of humidity probes to support reliable monitoring in production and controlled environments. Assets such as digital and analog Hygrometers, Environmental Chambers, Dew Point Analysers and Humidity Data Loggers can be tested.

Magnets

We provide Gauss calibration services for magnetic testing equipment including magnetic rods and sieve magnets, essential tools in food safety and quality assurance applications. Our recommendation is that gauss meters and probes be calibrated at least once a year.

Metal Detectors

Keep your inspection system performing to specification with metal detector calibration services. We verify operation against the manufacturer’s parameters with traceable test sticks, and issue a calibration certificate on completion for compliance and quality requirements. During the test we also check rejections, sensors, belt speeds and general condition of the head.

Pressure

We calibrate a wide range of pressure measurement equipment from -0.95 to 100 bar g. This includes analogue and digital pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, switches, transmitters, and controllers, as well as pressure-related safety and test devices like relief valves, leak testers, and burst testers.

pH and Conductivity

Conductivity meter calibration services typically involves rinsing the probe, immersing it in reference solutions with known conductivity, adjusting the instrument to match each standard, rinsing between solutions to prevent cross-contamination, and completing a final verification check using a separate standard.

Salt Analysers

Salt analyser calibration is essential for maintaining accurate, reliable measurements. By comparing readings against known standards, you can correct for sensor drift, temperature effects, and normal wear over time, thus reducing the risk of costly errors and helping protect consistent product quality.

Temperature

We handle simulation and calibration of PT100/PT1000 sensors and thermistors, thermocouples (type K, J, N, T, R, S), and a range of devices such as fridges, freezers, fryers, autoclaves, and storage chambers. Temperature mapping services are also available for ovens and other controlled environments.
