Quorn Cleans Up Its Core Range with ‘No Artificial Ingredients’ Makeover

Quorn is taking a bold step in the meat-free market, announcing the removal of all artificial ingredients from its core frozen range of vegetarian products.

From August 2025, shoppers will begin to see updated packs of the brand’s popular mince and pieces SKUs, now proudly carrying the claim “high protein with no artificial ingredients”.

Simplified Recipes for a Healthier Choice

The refreshed Quorn Mince range – available in 300g and 500g packs – will now contain just four ingredients, while the Quorn Pieces, also in 300g and 500g formats, will be pared back to only three ingredients.

Alongside the recipe changes, the packs will sport a new look, featuring additional claims about fibre content, saturated fat levels, and convenient cooking times.

This simplified approach doesn’t stop there. The Quorn Swedish Style Balls will join the “no artificial ingredients” club later this year, while Quorn Strips – which have always been made without artificial ingredients – will now be marketed as part of the revamped range.

More product updates are already in the pipeline for 2026.

A Consumer-Driven Shift

According to Quorn Foods UK’s head of brands, the move is a response to evolving consumer priorities.

It was explained that the meat-free category is evolving – 53% of UK consumers say healthy nutrition has become more important to them in the last five years, and some shoppers are increasingly conscious of the ingredients in their favourite foods.

By putting the spotlight on high protein with no artificial ingredients, the brand aims to positively influence that conversation. With over 40 years of food science behind it, Quorn is calling this its most simple and nutritious range yet.

Cutting Through the Noise in Meat-Free

The new positioning is also designed to address the confusion surrounding meat-free products.

Quorn have always said that the nutritional benefit of a food remains the most important factor in whether a product is healthy or not. What’s more, they have extensive evidence on all their products to support their place in their range.

Quorn’s mission is clear: to offer planet-friendly, simple-ingredient products that provide easy, tasty, and nutritious swaps for the meals consumers already know and love.

Backed by a Major Campaign

To support the launch, Quorn will roll out a major marketing campaign in October 2025.

The aim of the campaign is to reinforce its new health-led message and appeal to ingredient-conscious shoppers.

Conclusion

With cleaner recipes, simplified ingredients, and a strong focus on nutritional benefits, Quorn’s refreshed frozen range marks a significant moment for the brand – and for the meat-free sector as a whole.

By aligning with consumer demand for transparency, health, and sustainability, Quorn is positioning itself not just as a meat alternative, but as a leader in the future of mindful eating.
