Dini Argeo’s ATEX pallet truck scales combine a standard hand pallet truck with an integrated weighing system designed for hazardous (explosive) atmospheres, so operators can lift, move, and weigh pallets in one workflow while staying compliant with zone requirements. The range is built around ATEX-certified components and is available in “approved” (legal-for-trade) versions where required. (Dini Argeo)
1) TPW EX 2GD (Zones 1/21 & 2/22)
This is the heavy-duty painted-steel ATEX pallet truck for higher-risk classified areas, rated for Zones 1 & 21 as well as 2 & 22 with protection marking Ex II 2G IIB T4 Gb X / Ex II 2D IIIC T197°C Db X. It offers 2,000 kg maximum lifting capacity and typical internal resolution 0.2 kg, with approved divisions 0.5/1 kg depending on configuration. It’s built around four ATEX-certified IP68 stainless steel load cells, an IP68 stainless steel indicator, and a large 25 mm LCD display for readability in poor light. Power is via a removable battery charged in a safe area, with around 150 hours autonomy (or continuous use with an optional second battery). (Dini Argeo)
2) TPW EX 3GD (Zone 2/22)
For less demanding hazardous zones, the TPW EX 3GD targets Zone 2 and Zone 22, with protection Ex II 3G IIC T6 Gc X / Ex II 3D IIIC T115°C Dc X. Capacity and core build are similar (e.g., 2,000 kg capacity; internal resolution commonly 0.2 kg, approved 0.5/1 kg), again using four IP68 stainless steel ATEX load cells and an IP68 stainless indicator. A key capability highlighted for this model is wireless communication to a safe area, supporting safer data transfer without bringing non-rated devices into the zone. 3) TPWI-PRO “EX” 2GD (Stainless steel, Zones 1/21 & 2/22)
Where washdown, corrosion resistance, or hygiene drives the requirement, Dini Argeo offers the TPWI-PRO EX 2GD with a complete AISI 304 stainless steel structure, suitable for Zones 1/21 & 2/22 and available trade approved. It supports 2,000 kg as standard (with special capacities available up to 3,000 kg on request), includes extractable battery power, and uses four ATEX-certified IP68 stainless load cells. The stainless design extends to key mechanical elements (including the pump and fork structure), making it a strong fit for chemical, pharmaceutical, and similar harsh environments. (Dini Argeo)
4) TPWI-PRO EX 3GD (Stainless steel, Zone 2/22)
This is the stainless alternative for Zone 2/22 applications, pairing the lower-zone ATEX rating with the AISI 304 stainless build and optional legal-for-trade configuration. (Dini Argeo)
Across the range you’ll see practical weighing functions such as zeroing and tare, net/gross, accumulation, and configuration via the keyboard (and on some versions, PC setup). They’re engineered for warehouse-realistic handling too: low-profile forks (~85 mm), typical fork size 1150 × 550 mm, and rugged steel/stainless chassis options depending on environment and zone needs.
