Beanies Coffee Launches New ‘Compostable’ Coffee Pods in Three Flavours

Beanies, a well-known coffee brand from the North East that’s famous for its flavoured instant coffees, has launched new ‘compostable’ coffee pods in three of their classic flavours. The company, which has received the Queen’s Award for International Trade, is now expanding into the coffee pod market in the United Kingdom and 35 additional countries.

To start off modestly, and to cater to the taste preferences of coffee lovers across the globe, these Nespresso-compatible capsules will be available in three classic and popular flavours: velvety vanilla, caramel, and hazelnut.

Beanies, which started in 2013, has created a variety of unique flavours over the years, such as sticky toffee pudding, jam doughnut, and chocolate orange. You can find the company’s products, including jars of instant granules, sachets, and gift sets, in various stores like Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Lidl, and Home Bargains.

Towards the end of last year, 2022, the company consisting of 46 members and based in Darlington, announced that it had begun selling its products to Australia. This was due to a surge in online sales during the Covid pandemic, to which the firm then expressed a desire to increase sales further, identifying markets in South Africa, India, Malaysia, and Japan as potential opportunities to achieve this goal.

Beanies Coffee, which has been offering a range of more than 40 unique flavours of instant coffee granules for many years, has now entered into the coffee pod market scene. Beanies have taken the increasing popularity of coffee pods into account while creating their own.

The company put in major effort to make their coffee pods as sustainable as possible, due to initial concerns over their environmental impact. The ‘compostable‘ coffee pods are an important feature of their new product range, as they have a positive impact on the environment and the community as a whole. Environmentally conscious consumers, who prioritise sustainability in their purchases, find the commitment to using compostable materials appealing.

Beanies also strive to maintain the distinct and appetising taste within each pod, ensuring that customers who like their flavoured coffees will be satisfied with the three traditional flavours on sale; Vanilla, Caramel, and Hazelnut. The company has further stated that it has the capacity to add more coffee pod flavours to its range at a later time, should the demand be there for them.

It’s exciting to see Beanies Coffee expanding their product range into ‘compostable’ coffee pods, after serving their unique flavoured instant coffees to the world for some time now. The coffee will both taste great and make consumers feel better about their choice, regardless of whether they choose the Vanilla, Caramel, or Hazelnut blend.

Additionally, Beanies Coffee’s release of ‘compostable’ coffee pods represents their commitment to continue being a sustainable and responsible company today, and also in the future as well.
