The bakery, owned by Frank Roberts & Sons Ltd, has recently secured a long-term lease for a state-of-the-art 60,600 sq ft industrial unit at Winsford Industrial Estate, Cheshire

This strategic move marks the birth of a new era as the refurbished facility becomes the home of Roberts Bakery’s biscuit manufacturing division, The Little Treats Bakery.

Nestled within 2.45 acres of prime industrial real estate, the newly acquired Winsford facility is set to revolutionise biscuit production for Roberts Bakery. Located just 4 miles from their Northwich headquarters, this expansion will not only bolster their production capacity but also strengthen their position in the region.

Legat Owen, the renowned property management company, played a pivotal role in facilitating this milestone achievement. They inked a 15-year lease agreement, cementing Roberts Bakery’s presence at Winsford Industrial Estate. 

The director at Legat Owen, in a statement, underscored the significance of this development, stating that Winsford Industrial Estate has emerged as a vital regional employment hub, housing major manufacturing and distribution giants. 

They went on to further express that Roberts Bakery is a significant addition to the Estate, and their presence will not only create new jobs but also solidify Winsford’s standing as a key industrial location in the North West.
